Learning Program
At Smithfield Public School, children engage in educational programs that are differentiated to support their individual needs. Each student has a Personalised Learning and Support Plan (PLaSP) which is developed in consultation with parents, carers and other specialists or professionals. Support classes deliver a high quality learning program using NSW Syllabus outcomes and content across all Key Learning Areas including:

- Science and Technology
- History/Geography
- Creative and Performing Arts
- Personal Development Health and Physical Education
- Communicaton
- Life Skills
The Every Student, Every School learning and support framework and supporting teaching and learning documents are also used to support students who require greater modification and adjustments to their learning.
