Congratulations FLL team!
On Thursday 8th November, the Smithfield First Lego League team - Carisa, Eric, Julianne, Justin, Max, Nam, Ronan and Valentina - attended the NSW FLL Competition at Baulkham Hills North Public School. They competed against 22 other schools including some high schools in robotics design, research and coding. Throughout the day, the team collaborated and used critical thinking and creativity to complete a set number of missions using their own designed robot. They also presented their research idea and prototype designs to a panel of judges regarding the future of space travel.
Overall, the team won a trophy for best research and design.
We are extremely proud of the dedicated students who gave up their recess, lunch and some learning time in order to work together as a team to complete difficult tasks.
