Last Thursday 7th May, Year 2 students, turning 8, through to Year 6 walked to Brenan Park for our annual Cross Country Carnival. We were blessed with fine weather and an enjoyable day was had by all. Thank you to the following parents - Mrs Britten, Mrs Pinna, Mrs Waddell, Mrs Moore, Mrs Basher, Mr and Mrs Van Den Hooven, Mr Thorpe and Mrs King who assisted as field stewards. Without your terrific help our carnival could not have gone ahead due to safety reasons. Also, thank you to Mr and Mrs Papallo for their help with the PA system and course direction. A HUGE thank you to Mrs Kean for providing us with a ute to transport the equipment and for helping me set and pack up the course. Thanks also must go to Mrs Siwak and the Sports House Captains and Vice Captains for coming to school early to help set up the event. Finally, thank you to all staff members for your enthusiastic support in making the carnival a success.
