At Smithfield Public School, students are encouraged to demonstrate the following five core values:
Each term, students have who demonstrate these values have opportunities to recieve values cards. Students demonstrating all five values within the course of a school term are recognised through an invitation to participate in a special event.
To support students in this, teachers conduct lessons to help students know and understand what each value really means and 'looks like' in practice.
